WELCOME

​The Loudoun Ballet Performing Arts Company is Northern Virginia’s largest and most active pre-professional ballet company. LBPAC was founded to provide performance opportunities to talented and dedicated ballet dancers. In doing so, LBPAC provides the community with the opportunity to experience a beautiful art form performed to the highest of standards. Audience members go on magical journeys through original interpretations of classic stories, are inspired by the immense talent of the young dancers, and are blown away by the choreography, sets and costumes. While only 8-19 years of age, our dancers connect with your heart and imagination leaving you spellbound. Balletomanes have exclaimed, "This performance is not amateur! It rivals many major productions."

Our 2018/19 Ballet Season was packed with exciting performances and special events. In October, we presented Peter and the Wolf, a brilliant production created, choreographed, and staged by our Artistic Directors. Set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, the ballet told the story of a young boy, Peter, his farmland friends, his wise grandfather, and a greedy wolf. In December, The Nutcracker brought fresh choreography, artistic sets and beautifully designed costumes that made the holiday tradition more memorable. In May 2019, LBPAC premiered Cinderella, an enchanting ballet based on the beloved fairy tale with imaginative creatures, original choreography, and dreams fulfilled. Special events during our 2018/19 season included the annual LBPAC Gala in October, Sugar Plum Luncheon in December, and Cinderella Ball in May.

​What a fabulous day at Downtown Fest at One Loudoun! The joy on the kids’ faces when they saw Cinderella was priceless!  Thank you to the hundreds of families who visited our booth. It was wonderful to meet so many people and hear the excitement about The Loudoun Ballet Performing Arts Company (LBPAC). We look forward to sharing the joy and artistry of dance next weekend at LBPAC's enchanting production of Cinderella!
